Steal this idea: What's a product you wish someone else would build?

Ever had a random idea and thought, “Someone should totally build this”? Drop it here.

This thread’s for the stuff you don’t want to build yourself—but really wish existed. Weird, useful, hilarious, oddly specific… all fair game.

A windows program similar to Recall that does not store screenshots. Tried screenpipe but it did not capture remote desktop sessions.

We are probably getting there soon, but one prompt full stack application development and all you have to do is launch it live will be amazing 😁

after reading these all, I think the best one is to build a common problem sharing platform for all your problems related to everything at one place

🧵 How many hours does it take to generate product pages?

If you’re a maker or indie hacker, you know the pain...
You’ve got a great product idea.
But then comes the product page.
And suddenly, you're lost in copywriting, layout, SEO, and styling.

You think:
"I'll just spend a few hours on this."
But you blink and it’s been 2 days.
The design still doesn’t feel right.
The copy? Meh.
And your launch? Delayed—again.

Your idea may be stolen within these 2 days 😅

Cheap trip planner! Sky scanner now shows you when is the best time, duration and destination for the cheapest back and forth tickets from your location. but checking if hostels are available or cheap is still a manual task so I need an app that can check and find the best possible option with the cheapest stay included. Like should I stay 3 or 4 days in a place? Ticket for 3 days might be more expensive but the stay would be cheaper Or sometimes the opposite, if I stay longer I would get a better deal...

I want an AI doom scroller that can scroll through all my social media (I primarily use LI and IG now, but Twitter/X would be good too) and build a feed of the top posts that it thinks I should engage with. It would be trained on my previous engagement with social media content of course. I think this could be a win-win for the user (saves you massive amount of time and attention) AND social media platforms who want to increase engagement. Over time what happens is the feed algorithms of these platforms start to optimize for this AI doom scrollers and not humans and content overall becomes higher quality and less clickbaity... bc the AI will be able to by pass the human pitfalls of gravitating towards certain headlines and images and actually look for interesting posts.

I wanted to create a product that would collect the loving expressions of my kids, that would also allow me to see other people's content, and that would preserve the gems of my time with them.
