Hey Product Hunt! 👋

We’re excited to share Prism, the newest part of the Quanta Platform.

What is Prism?

Prism is the agentic reporting layer built directly on Quanta’s continuously reconciled ledger.

You can ask a question about your finances in plain language — What changed in gross margin? Which customers are paying late? How did cloud spend trend last quarter? — and Prism returns a sourced, auditable answer you can verify instantly.

This isn’t another analytics tool sitting on top of messy data. Prism is built on the same system that performs the accounting.

Why does this matter?

Most reporting tools can only visualize whatever data they’re handed, even if it’s incomplete, misclassified, or weeks out of date. That forces teams into manual digging, stitching sources, or double-checking numbers that never quite match.

Prism only works because of the foundation underneath it:

  • Our accounting engine automates the bookkeeping, enforces policy, and keeps the ledger continuously reconciled.

  • Our accounting services team works inside that same system, reviewing every exception and preserving human judgment with the entry.

Because the accounting is accurate, structured, and understood in one place, Prism can show what happened, why it happened, and the transactions behind it — all in real time.

Why did we build it?

We kept hearing the same story from founders and finance teams:

You can close the books, or you can understand the business — but doing both in real time feels impossible.

As engineers, we knew the real issue wasn’t reporting software. It was the underlying accounting. The data pipelines, the fragmentation, the delayed closes, the manual categorization… all of it prevented reporting from ever being trustworthy.

So we rebuilt the foundation: a continuously reconciled ledger owned by an accounting engine and full-service accounting team. Prism is the first product that brings that foundation to life.

How do I try it?

If your company uses Quanta for accounting, Prism is available today.

If you’re new to Quanta, you can get started with full-service accounting and onboarding in minutes at usequanta.com.

Excited to hear your feedback — and to finally make financial reporting something teams can trust without digging.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 We’re excited to share Prism, the newest part of the Quanta Platform.

What is Prism?

Prism is the agentic reporting layer built directly on Quanta’s continuously reconciled ledger. You can ask a financial question in plain language — Which customers are paying late? What changed in margin? How did spend trend last quarter? — and Prism returns a sourced, auditable answer you can verify instantly.

This works because Prism isn’t sitting on top of someone else’s data. It’s built on the same system that performs the accounting.

What makes it different?

Prism is only possible because of the foundation underneath it:

  • Our accounting engine automates the bookkeeping, enforces policy, and keeps the ledger continuously reconciled.

  • Our accounting services team reviews every exception and preserves human judgment inside the system.

  • Every entry stays structured, traceable, and understood, which means the reporting layer can finally explain what happened, why it happened, and the transactions behind it.

Instead of dashboards that visualize messy data or AI tools that guess on top of inconsistent books, Prism gives you the real answer — grounded in reconciled entries.

Why did we build it?

For years, we kept seeing the same problem: teams spend days trying to understand numbers that should be obvious. Traditional accounting software is delayed, fragmented, and hard to trust — which makes reporting slow, manual, and unreliable.

We realized the real issue wasn’t reporting tools. It was the accounting underneath them. So we rebuilt the ledger itself — with a modern accounting engine and a full-service team working in one system — and Prism is the first product to bring that foundation to life.

How do I get started?

If your company already uses Quanta for accounting, Prism is available today. If you’re new to Quanta, you can get started with full-service accounting and a complete setup in minutes at usequanta.com.

We’re excited to hear what you all think!

Finally—a reporting tool built on actual accounting truth, not messy data. This solves the real pain: trusting your numbers without manual digging.

Quick question: Are you reaching finance teams directly, or also partnering with VCs, CFO networks, or accelerators? This feels like a game-changer for board reporting and real-time insights.

(I work with SaaS founders on LinkedIn, where clarity on burn rate and margins is a daily struggle.)

We're learning agentic tools are only as good as the data and context you give it. Quanta has built this product with data model first in mind, and tools/functionality next. Too many people are trying the other way and it's hard to redo your data model. Looking forward to continual growth in functionality and capabilities in Prism/Quanta to come.
