How do you handle quotes and proposals as a freelancer — spreadsheet, template, or tool?

Curious what the PH community actually uses. I've spoken to a lot of freelancers and the answers are all over the place — Google Docs, Word templates, Excel, Wave, or just winging it in email.
I'm building Quotix to solve this specifically, but I'd love to know what's working (or not) for people before I assume I know the answer.
Do you lose time on quoting?
Do clients ghost after receiving one?
