Can you earn income as a personal motivator in an app? We're building that in Focido

One question we keep getting: "Can I actually make money as a motivator in Focido?"

Short answer: yes, and we're building the infrastructure for it.

Long answer: we designed Focido around a role called "Motivator." Not a bot, not a notification, but a real person who helps another user follow through on their goals. Sessions are tracked. Quality scores are built over time. The better your helpfulness score, the more visibility you get.

The motivator marketplace with deeper monetization is on the roadmap. The core matching and session loop is already live.

What made us build this: 2025 research on coach-assisted apps keeps pointing to the same finding. Human interaction measurably improves whether people stick to goals. AI handles structure, but humans handle the emotional follow-through that keeps people from disappearing on themselves.

We think this creates a legit new kind of flexible, remote, human work. Not "coaching" in the performative sense. Just being useful to someone at the right moment.
