Chunk v2 is live!! Try completely free, no card or subscriptions needed
Chunk v2 is finally out after months of work and I wanted to share it here since this community gave me some really useful feedback on v1.
It’s a menubar time-blocking app for macOS. The core idea is simple, plan your day in focused chunks, get a fullscreen alert when one ends, then move straight into the next. It’s built to be fast, frictionless, and not feel like some bloated system that requires as much time as it saves.
A few of the bigger things it supports now:
Calendar sync with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Outlook, so you can plan around your real schedule
Claude Desktop integration: Just ask claude to break a task into time-blocks or re-organise your day and watch Claude do the rest.
Apple Reminders sync, so tasks you already have there can be pulled straight into Chunk
A proper todo mode where you can create todos and drag them directly into your day
Templates and routines, so you can save layouts and reuse them instead of rebuilding the same days over and over
Week view for planning beyond just today
Fullscreen alerts that work properly even if you’re in fullscreen apps
cmd + / to open it anytime
Try for free! We have a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. After that it’s a one-time lifetime licence, no subscriptions.
Happy to answer questions, and genuinely always open to feedback or feature requests.

Love the Claude integration...that's a game-changer for planning days! Will give Chunk a spin soon.
If you're up for it, I'm launching The Sponge on PH soon...an AI-powered flashcard app with a browser extension that turns webpages into study material using spaced repetition. Would appreciate a follow (see "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" link in my profile).
