How do you test if people understand your new product instantly

Hi everyone,

I have been building a simple link in bio tool on the side, and I cannot tell if new visitors understand the idea clearly enough.

As the builder, it always feels obvious to me, which usually means it is not obvious at all.

I want to learn from people who have done this before.

My questions are simple:

• How do you test first impressions?
• What signals show that the idea is clear
• Do you run quick user tests or something else
• What mistakes should I avoid early on

For context, the tool I am working on is boringone.page. It creates a clean one page profile from your links in a few minutes.

The focus of this thread is the process, not the tool.
