I built a simple feedback button to understand my users better — would love your thoughts

by

Hey Product Hunt 👋

I built Retour because I kept running into the same problem in every side project:
people had feedback… but they rarely shared it.

Sometimes it was a random DM, sometimes a screenshot with zero context, and most of the time… complete silence.
I kept guessing what users wanted — and obviously that doesn’t work.

So I built a very small tool: a simple “Feedback” button you can add to any website.
No heavy widget. No form builder. Just an easy way for users to say:

  • what’s working

  • what’s broken

  • what feature they want next

Everything goes into one clean dashboard instead of being scattered across emails and DMs.
You can also pipe feedback directly into a Slack channel.
And I added a tiny AI summary to understand sentiment instantly.

It’s helped me fix issues faster and feel more connected with early users.

I’m curious to learn from the community:

How do you collect feedback from your early users right now?

  • Google Forms?

  • Email?

  • Discord?

  • Custom dashboards?

What worked for you and what didn’t?

Happy to answer anything about Retour too. Just here to learn and share 🙌
