I built a tool to map buying committees and org charts for B2B sales (would love feedback)
Hey everyone,
I’ve been building a product called Dealtree and wanted to share it here to get some honest feedback.
The idea came from a pretty frustrating pattern I kept running into during B2B sales.
I’d be in what looked like a strong deal. Good conversations, clear use case, a solid champion inside the company. But deals would stall or fall apart because I didn’t fully understand who else was involved in the decision.
There were always a few invisible stakeholders, people with influence or actual buying authority that I either missed or engaged too late.
My workaround was manual:
digging through LinkedIn, trying to piece together org structures, guessing reporting lines, checking titles like “VP”, “Head of”, “Director” and hoping I was talking to the right people.
It worked sometimes, but it was slow and inconsistent.
So I started building Dealtree.
What it does now:
generates org charts with real people data
helps map the buying committee for a specific deal
shows who likely has influence vs decision authority
suggests how to multi-thread your outreach
creates action plans to move deals forward
What’s interesting is that the product evolved a lot during beta. Early users pushed me beyond just org charts into actually helping with deal strategy.
It’s still early, but usable. You can try it here: https://app.dealtree.io
If you’re in sales, founder-led sales, or even building in this space, I’d really love to know:
how you currently map stakeholders
what part of this process is the most painful
what you think is missing from tools like this
Happy to answer any questions as well.
