I built an AI ergonomics prototype in my room — looking for feedback on my first public demo
I’m a computer science student building a product called ErgoVigilance.
The original question was simple:
Can an ordinary camera make posture-related ergonomic risk easier to observe?
I didn’t have access to a factory floor while developing it, so my room became the test environment — and I became the test subject.
What started as basic pose tracking gradually grew into a workflow around posture analysis, risk information, alerts, timelines, session replay and reports.
I’ve just published my first proper public video showing what I’ve built:
I want to be transparent about where it stands.
It’s still a prototype, it hasn’t yet been validated in a real factory environment, and it’s intended as a screening aid rather than a medical device.
I’m now trying to understand what I should prove next.
If you watch the short demo, I’d really appreciate feedback on three things:
1. Is the problem clear?
2. Does the product make sense?
3. What would you validate next?
Critical feedback is welcome.
