I built the learning platform YouTube never built!!
I'm Azhar, and I built Notetube over the last 5 months.
The problem: I taught myself programming mostly through YouTube. It's an incredible resource, but there's no way to organize what you watch, test what you've learned, or track your progress. Your learning is scattered across playlists, history, and forgotten bookmarks. And that’s mostly because YouTube was not primarily built for education even though it became the biggest learning resource.
Notetube combines two layers to solve this problem and to transform YouTube into a complete learning platform:
Structure Layer (non-AI): Categories and Collections to organise videos by topic or learning goal. A learning dashboard showing overall progress and completion. Goals and streaks for consistency. Learning roadmaps that sequence videos into structured paths.
Intelligence Layer (AI): Every video is broken into topics with bite-sized learning blocks, key points, and concept maps. Auto-generated quizzes test comprehension by topic. Timestamped notes link to exact video moments. An AI chat assistant answers questions grounded in the actual video content. Extended readings go beyond the video with additional context. Rich text editor to take detailed notes on every video.

Would love feedback, especially if you use YouTube to learn!
