Launching May 1st: A local-first AI organizer to cure the "Collector's Fallacy

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m OrangeAI, an indie maker based in Seoul. I’ve been a long-time lurker and a huge fan of the incredible products built by this community. Today, I’m thrilled to step out and introduce a project I’ve been pouring my heart into.
Like many of you, I constantly struggle with information overload. I used to save hundreds of articles, videos, and links to read later, only for them to pile up in a massive "note graveyard." It’s the classic "Collector's Fallacy"—mistaking the mere collection of information for actual knowledge.
To solve my own itch, my partner (a brilliant Senior Dev) and I built CatchNote. It is a frictionless, local-first knowledge manager designed to help you stop organizing and start thinking.
1-Tap Capture: Save anything in 1 second via the iOS Share Sheet.
On-Device AI Sorting: Our local AI automatically understands the context and categorizes your saves into the perfect folder—zero cloud privacy risks.
Deliberate Friction: We even built in a "cooldown" system to gently stop you from mindless digital hoarding.
We are incredibly excited to announce that we are officially launching CatchNote here on Product Hunt this coming May 1st! 🚀
As a first-time launcher, I am both nervous and excited. Before the big day, I’d love to hear from this amazing community: How do you currently manage your endless backlog of saved links, and do you have any tips for our launch day?
Any advice, thoughts, or early feedback would mean the world to us. We can't wait to share our product with you all on May 1st! Thank you so much! 🙏
