Trying to launch a laser cleaning startup after 25 years working with industrial lasers
Hi everyone,
My name is Rasmus and for the past 25 years I’ve worked with industrial laser technology, programming and operating high-end laser systems in professional environments.
After spending most of my career working with lasers for other companies, I’ve finally decided to try building something of my own.
The company is called BeamClean, and the idea is simple:
Use laser surface cleaning technology to remove rust, paint, graffiti and contamination without chemicals or abrasive blasting.
Laser cleaning is already used a lot in industry, but it’s still relatively unknown outside of large manufacturing companies. My goal is to make it available as a service for businesses and property owners.
Right now I’m trying to raise the initial capital needed to get the first equipment and start operating. I launched a fundraiser to help cover the startup costs and equipment.
Even small support helps a lot, and if anyone here is interested in the technology or the project, I’d really appreciate feedback or advice as well.
Here’s the fundraiser if you want to take a look:
If you can’t donate, sharing or feedback is just as valuable.
Thanks for reading and for any advice you might have.
— Rasmus
