When we started Crunchy, we imagined one person uploading data and getting insights.

What we actually found was different.

Every marketing and GTM team has one person who became the de facto data person by accident. They got good at Excel. Then Tableau. Then everyone started depending on them. Now they spend half their week building reports for the whole team and can't escape it. They didn't sign up to be the team's analyst. They just got good at something and got stuck.

The person waiting for the report is just as frustrated. She knows what she wants to know about pipeline, revenue, campaign performance. She just can't get there without going through someone else first.

We thought we were building for the analyst. Turns out we're building for both of them, and the relationship between them is the actual problem we're solving.
