What if you could understand why you keep reaching for your phone? 🧠📱

One thing we didn't want AntiRot to become is just another app telling you:

“You spent 4 hours on your phone today.”

That's useful, but it doesn't tell you why.

So we added a Journal feature.

After a distraction or blocked attempt, you can take a moment to write down what's actually going on:

Why did I want to open this app?

What was I feeling?

What was I supposed to be doing instead?

Over time, those little entries can help you spot patterns in your own behaviour.

Maybe you always reach for Instagram when you're bored.

Maybe you scroll when you're avoiding a difficult task.

Maybe you're picking up your phone every time you feel stressed.

The goal isn't to judge the behaviour.

It's to make the behaviour visible.

Because sometimes the first step toward changing a habit isn't blocking it harder, it's understanding it better.

That's what we're trying to build with AntiRot.

Do you think journaling could actually help you understand your scrolling habits, or would you skip it after day one? 😅
