And now with the newly announced iOS 11 update, you will be able to scan them with the native camera app! That’s why we’re introducing Shopcodes - a QR code built exclusively for shopping. They can be easily generated within your Shopify store, and direct customers directly to a product in your store, or directly to a checkout for a quick purchase. Now that the camera in iOS 11 also scans QR codes, this is a really nifty feature for Shopify store owners to drive offline engagement - can see it being super useful for physical and online store owners!

Just downloaded and messed around with it. Love the simplicity. Hope they release a widget to embed the code onto product images.

Pros:

Great Marketing Tool! Super simple to use and FREE - cost of shopify account.

Cons:

Would be nice if the codes could be embedded on Product images.
