Are we witnessing a revolution — or recreating a bubble?

by

Every day I open my phone and see: “If you’re not learning AI now, you’re already behind.” “AI replacing humans — countdown has started.”

There’s this constant pressure — like if you don’t jump in immediately, you’ll be left behind. We’ve seen this before. When blockchain was everywhere, the narrative felt almost identical. But if we zoom out and look at it over time: How many people actually built something sustainable? How many truly created value? And how many just paid tuition to the hype cycle? Curious how builders here see it — Are we at the start of real transformation, or just another speculative wave with better storytelling?

I think it’s both atp. There is real transformation happening, but the difference this time is that people are actually using the tools daily. Not just investing in them, but also integrating them into workflows. That’s usually a stronger signal than hype alone. But the pressure narrative? That part feels very bubble-like honestly. To me, saying “If you’re not in, you’re behind” is classic cycle psychology. It pushes adoption faster than understanding.

@george_esther Agree! Is rapid development really considered as progress? We want to liver better, instead of losing jobs. If the first thing is cut off workers, I don't think this is a good signal. Or is it merely a product of capital being used for gambling?
