Hi! I'm Clayton, an Editor of The Disconnect, along with Founding Editor @bolinchris. We created The Disconnect because the internet can be overwhelming sometimes. With all the links, ads, and notifications, it's hard not to get distracted. So we designed The Disconnect to prevent that. By forcing readers to literally disconnect from the internet, they can focus on what's in front of them while still having the accessible, inventive nature of a digital platform.
