Hey all, a few updates since last time:
Press S on a tooltip to save a word, C to copy its meaning
New Words window to review your saved words, or export them to Anki
Grammar and idioms in the learn tooltip are a lot more accurate
Hovers are faster, especially in Chrome, Safari and Slack
The update window now opens in front

Does saving a word keep the sentence it came from too?
Including that in the Anki export would make it easier to review the meaning you actually encountered

When Anki imports a text file, it treats two notes as the same if the first field matches, and by default it updates the existing note in place. So if someone saves "bank" from a finance article and later "bank" from a river story, the second export quietly overwrites the first meaning.
That's why the sentence @al_kubasked about matters more than it looks. It's what keeps 2 senses of one word apart. Putting it in the first field, or exporting a guid column, would stop the overwrite.
If the export is CSV, it's also worth writing `#separator:Tab` and `#html:true` at the top of the file.
Anki 2.1.54+ reads those, and a meaning with a comma in it won't split into the wrong column.
If it's already .apkg, ignore that last part. Which format does it write?
