I built TV Art Upscaler after buying a new TV that displays artwork when it’s not in use. I started grabbing images from different online galleries to use as art, but quickly realised most of them just didn’t look right on a big screen — crops were off, images looked soft, and nothing really felt “made” for the TV. I couldn’t find a simple tool that let me properly crop and upscale images specifically for art TVs, so I ended up building one.
