A Few Questions & Thoughts on the Unicorns Club Experience
Hello Unicorns Club team and fellow members!
I've been [using the platform / following the club] for a little while now and I'm really impressed with [mention something specific you like, e.g., the quality of the community, the insights shared, the project focus]. It's clear a lot of thought has gone into it.
As I've been exploring, a few questions and ideas came to mind that I thought might be valuable for both the team and other users:
For the Team (Regarding Vision & Growth):
The Long-Term Vision: Could you share a bit about where you see Unicorns Club in the next 2-3 years? Are we focusing on deepening the value for a niche community, or is the goal to scale into a broader platform?
Curating Quality: One of the best things here is the signal-to-noise ratio. As we grow, what strategies or tools is the team considering to maintain the high quality of discussions and connections that we have now?
Feedback Integration: How do you currently prioritize feature requests or pain points from the community? Is there a public roadmap or a preferred channel for submitting in-depth feedback?
For Fellow Members (To Spark Discussion):
The "Aha!" Moment: What has been the single most valuable thing you've gained from being here? Was it a specific connection, a piece of knowledge, or something else entirely?
Collaboration Potential: Have any of you found success collaborating with other members on projects? like gb wa or something else I'm curious to hear stories about how connections made here have translated into tangible outcomes.
Feature Wishlist: If you could add one new feature to Unicorns Club to make it even better, what would it be? (e.g., better search filters, topic-specific sub-groups, virtual event formats).

Hi David!
Thank you for the thoughtful post — you’ve raised some important and inspiring questions. Here’s a quick look at where we are and what’s next 💬
📌 The Long-Term Vision
Over the past year, we’ve tested dozens of hypotheses and are now focused on developing the features that brought the most value to our users. One of our core goals is to make each startup profile a fully functional data room — something founders will be proud to share with investors instead of sending pitch decks or long emails. It should highlight your strengths and stay “alive” with updated KPIs, intro videos, status changes, and more. We’ve come a long way already, but there’s still much to improve.
💬 We’re also planning a relaunch of our Intro Request system by the end of the year. It has already led to several meaningful calls between startups and investors — but it’s been very manual and hard to scale. That’s why we’re now working on connecting this feature to monetization: when startups spend Sparks, they should get real value in return — like structured feedback or a guaranteed call.
Our long-term vision is to build for founders and investors what YouTube once did for creators: a platform where you can monetize your growth and get the attention of VCs organically, not through gatekeepers.
✅ Curating Quality
We’re deeply intentional about maintaining the quality of content and connections. Our main engine here is the Unicorn Index — think of it like Duolingo’s streak rating, but for startups. It’s driven by several signals: traction, founder-submitted data, and profile completeness. Active users are rewarded with Sparks and achievements, which unlock new features and visibility. This system encourages founders to share verified, ongoing updates — turning Unicorns Club into one of the few places where early-stage startup data is both real and alive.
Thanks again for the great questions — and if you or anyone else has thoughts, we’re always listening 👂✨
p.s. by the way, share your profile link 🙏
