AI chats are great. But they break down for repetitive work.
AI chats are amazing. You explain what you need, get instant help, and for many things it replaced Googling for me.
But then there are tasks you do again and again.
AI is still great for those, but the classic chat interface feels wrong.
Take emails as an example:
You copy your draft, paste it into ChatGPT, explain how it should be improved, copy the result back. The better your instructions and examples are, the better the result. But repeating that process for every email is exhausting.
That’s why I built TypeBoost. You set up a good prompt once, and after that you can apply it in seconds — directly inside your email client (or any app). And then add good examples on the go while using it.
Now I’m curious:
What repetitive tasks do you use AI for?
For me, it’s mainly:
Fixing spelling and grammar
Writing / improving social posts (mostly X)
Writing consistent git commit messages
Translating between English and German
Improving emails
General writing improvements
Writing podcast descriptions
This is obviously very personal and AI might not the best tool for everything. But for repetitive writing tasks, it works incredibly well for me.
What are your go-to AI use cases? I’d love to learn from your workflows.
