Are "Chat with PDF" wrappers dead in EdTech?
Hey everyone đź‘‹. As a student myself, I've been observing a frustrating pattern. Most AI learning tools can now summarize a 100-page PDF for you. But let's be honest, reading a summary of a PDF is not going to help you survive a tough midterm.
The last 9 months, I've been obsessed with a different question. Can we use AI Agents to reverse-engineer a syllabus and actually predict the exam questions?
I’d love to hear from other makers and learners here:
Is the "AI summarization" phase of EdTech now obsolete?
How do we build AI systems that actually force active recall, not just reading?
P.S. I actually just launched my take at solving this problem—LearnX V3—on PH today! I have college classes all day today, so can't reply immediately, but will be reading all of your comments between lectures. Would love your feedback!
