Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I’m Simona — a finance & business consultant who spent the last 10 months building a full software product solo, without a developer background.

Not for fun. But because the product beauty professionals actually needed didn’t exist.

TL;DR: I built a simple finance & pricing app that shows beauty pros their real profit and tax — in real time.

I come from a background in business management, finance, and startup consulting — NOT engineering. So learning everything from UI → backend → databases → OCR → auth → cloud… was 😵‍💫 let’s just say… overwhelming. 

But I leaned into it. 

ChatGPT was my best friend, while Claude, Zencoder, Codex and Kilo Code all got a fair share of cursing at. 😂

But we got there in the end.

So what did I actually build and why ?

Beauty pros (hair, nails, lashes, therapists, etc.) run busy, high-output businesses.

This industry is consistently growing.

But talking to many beauty pros over the years I kept hearing the same thing:

“I don’t have a clue about the business side — my accountant handles it at the end of the year.”

So I started asking a few simple questions:

“What are your overheads per hour?”

“How much profit do you make per service?”

“How much tax will you owe next year?”

Every single time: tumbleweed.

Not because they’re doing anything wrong — but because no one teaches them how to actually manage their business finance day-to-day. 

Bookkeepers enter receipts. Accountants do year-end filings.

But beauty pros are left in the dark for the most part of the year when it comes to profit and tax estimates. 

There are plenty of appointment booking and payment collection software out there, which helps to manage the sales side of things. 

But how about actual earnings?

Income - expenses = profit - tax = take home pay. 

Tools like that simply didn’t exist.

Until now!
