I built PAVO Travel - an AI audio guide that adapts to YOUR interests in real-time.
The tech behind it: We use Gemini with Grounding to generate personalized travel stories on the spot. It works in your native language and creates unique guides based on where you are and what you want to explore - food, history, hidden gems, whatever you're into.
Think of it as having a local friend in your pocket who knows exactly what you'd love to discover.

For a travel app I would look for some of the most trendy destinations in the area. For example, If I was traveling somewhere with an iconic dish or drink, I would love to see the best spots to try this. Inputting preferences for say gluten-free options, etc. could be beneficial as well!
@richardriley Great feedback! That's exactly what we're working on - the AI already suggests local food spots based on your interests, but dietary filters (gluten-free, vegan, etc.) are on the roadmap. The "trendy destinations" idea is interesting - right now it focuses on your location + interests, but surfacing what's popular locally could add another layer. Would you use this mostly for planning ahead or on-the-go discovery?

Of course, traveling a lot an app like this is very intriguing. I'd probably use it on-the-go, based on what area I'm in, similar to going to google maps, but with more personalized suggestions. Seems like this is direction you're going and looking forward to seeing it. Congrats on the app!
