I’m the maker of CheckDead.

The idea for CheckDead was born from a simple yet profound question: If you live alone and something goes wrong, how long would it take for the world to notice? We often rely on "read receipts" or occasional messages, but life is busy, and silence can be dangerous.

I wanted to build a safety net that respects the most important thing we have: Privacy. Most safety tools monitor your GPS 24/7 or collect data. CheckDead is designed to be different:

• Privacy-First Architecture: We don't use GPS tracking or collect your data. Everything is stored locally on your device.

• Minimalist & Silent: Just one tap a day to confirm you're safe. We only act when you are unresponsive.

• Reliable Protection: If you miss your check-in window, your trusted contacts are automatically notified.

CheckDead is for the solo dwellers, the elderly, and the adventurers who want peace of mind without invasive monitoring.
