Creating a Modern PLM Experience — What Matters Most to You?
Hello everyone,
I’m part of the team behind Nora IPLM — a cloud-based SaaS PLM platform built to bring the full product lifecycle into one space: from ideation through BOMs, change control, risk tracking, and into production. (Check it out at www.noraplm.com).
Before we roll out the next wave of features, I’d really value your input:
1. In your view, where does a platform like Nora IPLM drive the greatest benefit?
Manufacturing, supplier networks, startups, large OEMs, engineering design teams… where are the biggest pain-points?
2. What would you expect from a modern PLM/innovation platform today?
Better BOM management? Clearer revision tracking? Integrated CAD/ERP workflows? Risk & issue dashboards? What’s missing in tools you’ve used?
3. If you’ve worked on PLM, IPLM or related systems—what did you struggle with?
Data silos? Change-process bottlenecks? User adoption? Integrations?
I’m ready to share what’s under the hood at Nora IPLM: how we built it, our choice of modules and workflows, what the early users are telling us. Your thoughts now will help shape what comes next.
4. What collaborations or integrations matter most to you?
Do you see value in connecting PLM with project management tools, MES, QMS, or real-time shop-floor data? Which integrations would make your workflow smoother?
5. What makes a PLM platform truly “adoptable” for teams?
Simple UI? Better onboarding? Role-based dashboards? I’d love to know what helps teams actually embrace a PLM system rather than avoid it.
Thanks for reading — I’d be grateful for your feedback.
