Do smooth animations and fluid interactions matter to you in an app?

Do you love encountering insanely smooth interactions, "bouncy" physics engines, and satisfying micro-animations in the apps you use everyday? I do. But when it comes to productivity tools, things usually get stiff.

Traditional mind maps are designed to be finished products. In that world, order equals clarity, and clarity equals efficiency. They demand structure before you even start, naturally rejecting the chaotic nature of raw inspiration.

But great ideas don't start neat. They emerge from invisible, non-linear, and messy connections. I wanted to build a tool that honors the process of thinking, rather than just the result.

That is why I created Rhizo - Stress-free Mind Map.

Rhizo is a tiny but mighty thinking playground (under 2MB) that embraces the beautiful chaos of the human mind. It provides a frictionless space with no forced alignment and no rigid hierarchies.

To make thinking feel like pure joy rather than work, I poured my heart into the interaction design, specifically focusing on those satisfying, bouncy physics:

• Custom Physics Engine: I spent countless nights hand-crafting a physics engine from scratch just to get the "bounciness" right. Every node possesses gravity, inertia, and a delightful elasticity.

• "Liquid Glass" Fluidity: Inspired by Apple's signature fluid interfaces and "liquid glass" aesthetics, I engineered the tactile feedback to be profoundly satisfying. You can feel the subtle resistance when dragging a thought, and the crisp, elastic snap-back when letting go. It literally feels like pulling and releasing a rubber band. Every interaction provides a micro-dopamine reward.

• Direct Inspiration: Long-press to watch an idea visually "squash and stretch" as it blooms, and drag to organically connect nodes like springs. The UI gets out of the way so the user can stay in the flow.

As an indie developer, I also made a strict promise to my users:
