From 'Locked Out' to 'Everywhere': Our new Outlook integration is live!
We launched Meet-Ting on Gmail to move fast. It got us out there, but we quickly built up technical debt and a heavy reliance on Google's APIs.
This was a problem. Our most valuable potential users (the "meeting-heavy" pros) all use Outlook.
After months of focused work to improve core reliability, it was time to expand our ecosystem. We call it our "Ting everywhere" strategy. Our native Outlook integration is live.
This was a monumental effort. We tasked Daniel (our new senior backend engineer - fresh off his onboarding!) with the challenge. He had to untangle Google-specific logic and navigate the Microsoft app approval process. He persevered, and it's finally here.

The best part? His refactors made it significantly easier for Harris (our junior engineer) to implement our new Zoom integration (now in beta), which has an approval process that's proving tougher than Microsoft's.
This is a huge win for our team and our users.
You can head to our site (meet-ting.com) now to login via Outlook and if you’re thinking about Zoom integration and want the shortcut just comment and I’ll DM you!

Congrats! Escaping Google’s clutches and surviving Microsoft approval deserves a medal (and maybe a nap).
Now that Outlook’s in the mix, it sounds like soon there’ll be nowhere left for meetings to hide. Looking forward to Zoom.

@abod_rehman Thank you!
Yes it's little bit Funny how “move fast” feels smart at the start, until you realize the real speed comes from building in a way your future self doesn’t have to untangle right .. @Mariana
