From Marketing to Software Development -> My Story & Mission

by•

Hey everyone đź‘‹

I’m Andrej founder of Onada.ai.

A little about me:

I got into marketing at 14 by building a theme page on Instagram that grew to 40K followers.

That small start turned into running a social media management company with clients in the US, and now in Switzerland (where I still work part-time).

I’ve always been curious about tech and software, but I’m not a “traditional” engineer — more of a scrappy builder who loves solving real problems.

Where the problem started:

When I began using AI in my work, it was exciting at first…

but quickly became frustrating.

Gemini was great for brainstorming ideas, but lacked some key features.

ChatGPT was stronger in other areas, but couldn’t match Gemini on creativity.

Paying for both felt unsustainable.

And worst of all, I had to explain my brand, my clients, and my context every single time.

Instead of saving me time, AI started to feel like babysitting software that forgot everything I told it.

The “aha moment”:

When vibe coding started trending, I thought: why not just build the tool I wish existed?

If I was feeling this pain, freelancers, solopreneurs, and small teams must be too.

That’s how Onada.ai was born.

We’re building a single AI hub where:

  • You can access 150+ models without juggling subscriptions.

  • Search the web with real-time data, sources, and images.

  • Generate content, images, or even short-form videos all in one place.

  • Upload files like brand guides and PDFs for instant context.

  • Train it once on your voice and style and it remembers.

  • A Universal Memory which takes context from your messages to improve over time.

It’s designed for people like me:

freelancers, entrepreneurs, or anyone who works solo and wants AI to actually feel like an assistant, not another tool to manage.

I’m super excited (and a little nervous) to share this with you all today.

Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and experiences, especially if you’ve faced the same frustrations I did.

Let’s make AI less overwhelming, and a lot more useful
