Who has the duty of care for my privacy?

Telcos aren’t doing much or are charging for protection (scams are still billable usage), 3rd party apps want all my call records (isn’t that a privacy invasion as well?) and for most mobile device manufacturers (although having the crowdsourced knowledge about scams) software isn’t their cup of tea.

So here we are, a weekend project with APIs and open source intelligence!
