Genuine question: Do people actually want to interact with the books/audios they consume?
I'm happy to review a product of yours/be a beta tester/do user interview, if you give me your genuine thought on this question :) TYIA!
I’ve been building BookShift, an interactive audiobook experience where listeners can jump in, ask questions, and have real-time discussions with the content.
But it got me thinking… while I want this level of engagement, do most people?
My sincere question to this community is: do readers and listeners want to interact with the books they consume, such as get clarifications, dive deeper, and turn the knowledge into action plans, or do most people just want to passively listen and move on? Is not being able to interact with content a pain for anyone?
I’d love to hear your thoughts!
If you listen to audiobooks or read regularly...
Would you want a more interactive experience, or does that break immersion?
Have you ever wished you could discuss an idea or ask a follow-up question while reading/listening? If so, what do you use now?
Curious to see how others think about this, especially fellow builders and readers!
