Hey Product hunt! I’m Murtuza, a CS undergrad builder👋
hey PH builders! I’m Murtuza Ali, currently in my final year of engineering. I’m a builder. I really enjoy building products, especially the ones that can create some real impact.
I’ve been building since my second year of college and I’ve tried a lot of ideas, AI tools, developer products and different kinds of systems. Most of them never got properly launched because I was always experimenting, learning and improving, but not really shipping publicly. I’ve been following the AI wave since the early boom days and I use AI tools almost every day. I really enjoy AI assisted coding, it feels powerful and changes the way you think while building.
But while building with AI, I kept running into the same issue again and again, hallucinations. Not big dramatic failures, but small inconsistencies that slowly affect product building & trust.
You start building something and it works in the beginning, you feel excited, then small issues show up. The output becomes slightly unreliable, the system behaves differently than expected and slowly you lose momentum at the idea stage itself. I think a lot of AI coding tools feel like this right now.
At some point I started thinking, instead of just dealing with this alone, what if we build something specifically for AI builders.
So me and my cofounder, who is also a close college friend and a strong developer ditched our college job placements, started building Mindalike. We’re launching it next week on Product Hunt. We’ve both won multiple hackathons and built quite a few projects over the years and now we want to build something that genuinely helps the builder community connect and collaborate better.
Mindalike focuses on connecting like minded AI builders so they can share ideas, collaborate on projects and ship better products faster, whether that means launching on Product Hunt or solving real world problems. I want to stay active here, learn from other builders, see what everyone is working on and be part of this community in a real way.
I believe social computing is going to grow a lot and AI + humans collaboration will shape how builders work in the coming years. I want more builders to benefit from that instead of struggling alone with tools and isolated workflows. That’s my simple motivation, help people solve problems and make product building more collaborative with AI.
Would love to connect with other builders here,
What are you currently building and what’s your biggest challenge right now?
