Hi! 12 years in Data Science in corporate world. Trying to make things for makers now.
Hello everyone!
I'm excited to join the community as I gear up to launch torrify.org an AI-powered OpenSCAD IDE for developing parametric, dimensionally accurate 3D models. I originally built it to design custom pottery tools, but its potential goes way beyond that.
Torrify takes a very different approach from standard mesh-based AI solutions because it generates editable code. This allows for human-in-the-loop iteration, meaning you can easily tweak the parameters to make a product that perfectly fits your real-world needs.
I have a Master's in Statistics and have spent over a decade working in data science, building products that help people connect in the conference world. Now, my goal is to build things for makers.
If there are any fellow ceramicists here, I also run openpottery.com, where I host 3D-printable files, a polyhedra template generator, and other free resources for potters.
Looking forward to connecting!
