How I turned my AI app into more than a prompt
A few month back, I noticed a gap while validating my idea. AI would give different answers every time, competitors were hard to map, and public data was scattered across dozens of platforms.
So instead of relying on prompts, I built something for myself — a small tool that combined AI reasoning with real signals from the market.
That gradually turned into MarketScope.
What I tried to do-
Let founders compare an idea with existing tools so that they don't waste resource by building duplicates.
But after I posted it on Reddit, a tech exec from Nokia told me that a good prompt can replace this tool. So, I added these features that prompt can't replace easily. All these work based on available public data. Now it has these three scores-
Trend Heat Score to understand momentum
Novelty Score to see if an idea is actually different
Execution Difficulty Score to estimate how hard it might be to build
It’s not meant to “predict success”.
It is to bring clarity during the messy early stage where everything feels like guessing and research takes a lot of time.
