I built DecodeMD because medical reports shouldn’t feel like a pop quiz

by

If you’ve ever opened a lab result or imaging report and thought, “I’m not qualified to read this,” you’re not alone.

I’m launching DecodeMD on January 26 — a human-centered app that turns confusing medical report language into plain-English explanations in under a minute. It’s designed for patients and family caregivers who are tired of panic-Googling at 11:30pm.

Two questions for you:

  1. What’s the most confusing phrase you’ve seen in a medical report? (No personal details—just the term/phrase.)

  2. When you read results, what do you most want first: “Is this urgent?” or “What does this mean?”

If you share a term, I’ll reply with how DecodeMD would translate it—and I’ll use the feedback to shape the launch build.
