I'm building the "anti-stack" for freelancers β€” does your tool situation actually embarrass you?

byβ€’

I launch on Product Hunt tomorrow. But before the big moment, I want to ask something honest.

How many tools are you actually using to run your freelance business or agency right now?

For most people I've talked to, the answer is somewhere between 4 and 9. Notion for proposals. Google Docs for contracts. Wave or FreshBooks for invoices. Calendly for booking. A spreadsheet for tracking who owes you what. Slack threads you can never find again.

It works. Kind of. Until a client asks "can you resend that proposal?" and you spend 20 minutes figuring out which Google Drive folder it's in.

Helio was built out of that exact frustration.

One place for proposals, invoices, client management, project tracking, and an AI layer that helps you write, pitch, and price β€” without switching tabs.

It's not claiming to be everything. It's claiming to be enough β€” which, honestly, might be more useful.

So before I go live β€” tell me:

  • What's the most embarrassing part of your current setup?

  • What's the one thing you wish was just... connected?

  • And if you've tried "all-in-one" tools before, what made you go back to the chaos?

No pitch. Genuinely curious. I built this for people like you, and I'd rather know if I got it wrong before 10,000 people find out tomorrow. πŸ‘€
