RedLeads

I scanned 100,000 Reddit posts with AI. Here is what "High-Intent" actually sounds like.

Hey Product Hunt! šŸ‘‹

Since I started building RedLeads AI, people keep asking me: "Is there really any money on Reddit? Isn't it just for memes and venting?"

So, I ran our engine through a few specialized subreddits yesterday to find users with "Hair-on-fire" problems—the kind that lead to immediate B2B sales.

Here are 3 "Whale" leads we found. No keywords, just pure AI intent analysis:

1. The $100,000/year Cloud Cost Struggle ā˜ļø

The Intent: A DevOps professional in r/devops explicitly stated their EMR Spark costs just crossed $100k/year. They are actively looking for "Spot instance optimization" and real-world visibility tools.

Why keywords would fail: A simple search for "Spark" or "Cloud" would bring up thousands of tutorials. Our AI identified the specific budget pain and the readiness to switch to a better tool.

2. The "Keeps me up at night" Compliance Issue šŸŽ

The Intent: A specialty food brand owner in r/canadasmallbusiness is managing lot tracking with "spreadsheets and prayer." They urgently need an automated FIFO system to avoid shipping expired goods.

The Quote: "This keeps me up at night tbh... manually log lot numbers and expiration dates... I need a proper system."

Value: For a WMS or 3PL software company, this is a 95% closed-deal lead.

3. The Overwhelmed Fundraiser šŸ“©

The Intent: A founder in the middle of a Seed round is tracking 100 VCs manually. Their inbox is a "disaster zone" and they are seeking automation tools that won't get detected as spam.

Pain Point: They are spending more time on spreadsheets than on actual investor conversations.

My Takeaway: Intent > Keywords

Most people are still using "Keyword Alerts." But as you can see, a keyword like "investor" or "cloud" is noisy.

The real value is in Semantic Understanding—finding the person who is losing sleep or losing money right now.

I’m curious to hear from the PH community:

Which of these 3 leads would be most valuable for your business?

Have you ever found a customer on Reddit by accident?
