Imagine an AI that actually manages your files — what would you ask it to do?

Hi everyone, I’m Bigyan, founder & CEO of The Drive AI.

Over the last few years, I’ve noticed something strange — we have AI that can write essays, code apps, and even generate videos… but when it comes to files, we’re still stuck in the past. We create them, rename them, move them, share them, and organize them manually — one by one — like it’s 2005.

That’s why we built The Drive AI — the world’s first agentic workspace, where your files can actually work for you. Instead of just storing them, our AI agents can:

  • ⚡️ Auto-organize your workspace the moment files are uploaded.

  • ⌨️ Use Cmd + K to trigger instant organization or any file operation.

  • 📧 Integrate with Gmail so attachments are automatically sorted, searchable, and connected to your workspace.

  • 🧩 Summarize, analyze, or even create new files — completely autonomously.

The idea is simple: you should be able to say,

“Organize all project reports by team and generate a summary for last week,”
and just step away from the screen.

We’re curious to hear from you:

What kind of file-related tasks do you wish an AI could take off your plate?
Whether it’s messy folders, chaotic downloads, or never-ending attachments — we’d love to know what slows you down the most.

Your feedback means a lot; it’s what helps us decide what our next agents should do. 🙌

This is such a practical idea, Bigyan! 🙌
I’ve spent way too much time just hunting for files across different drives and emails, so an AI that actually understands context and organizes automatically would be a game-changer.

I’d personally love it if it could link related files across projects, summarize key updates, and even suggest what’s actionable basically turning my messy workspace into a real-time assistant.

Curious, how do you see users balancing automation with control? I’ve noticed people like some level of manual oversight, especially in bigger teams.

@priyanka_gosai1 Hey Priyanka. Thank you and good questions actually. The AI can already see links between different documents and search over these. We are honing down on agentic file tasks like bulk renaming, organizing, creating files. But, we will definitely circle back and work on how we can make connections and suggest action ls between documents.
