Hey everyone, Just shipped a big update to UGCAlchemist and honestly not sure if we're solving the right problem. Would love your perspective.
I built UGCAlchemist to help founders create TikTok ads without hiring expensive UGC creators. Started with video generation, but kept hearing "carousels perform better but take forever to make."
So we rebuilt our carousel maker from scratch with AI. How it works now:
1. You write a simple prompt like "promote my coffee brand, emphasize sustainability"
2. AI generates text for 6-8 slides
3. AI picks matching images from your photo library
4. You get a ready-to-publish carousel with pacing, transitions, styling
5. Upload directly to TikTok Takes around 5 minutes instead of 2+ hours.
What I'm unsure about:
- Is this actually useful? Or are people fine spending time on carousels?
- Does AI-selected imagery feel "off" compared to manual curation?
- Should we focus more on customization or keep it simple and fast?
I'm a solo founder still figuring things out, so any feedback (even harsh) helps a lot. Happy to give access to anyone who wants to try it. Thanks for being such a helpful community 🙏

After entering the text and uploading 3 images, I have to choose the carrousel or the video right. Not 100% sure what's the step after that. I am looking for something like UGC for a platform I'm creating so would love to explore a bit.
@pherkan Hi Pherkan, Yes! Thath's right, you need to choose between carousel or video format. Then:
For carousels:
- Click "AI Suggest" to let AI generate slide text based on your prompt
- AI will also auto-select the image collection that best matches your product (more collections to come)
- You'll see a preview in the Slideshow Editor on the right
- Fine-tune if needed, then hit "Upload to TikTok".
For videos:
- AI generates a complete UGC-style video with avatar, voiceover, and scenes
- You get a preview before publishing
- Click "Generate" and a couple of seconds after it's ready to publish to TikTok.
