Kanbanq v0.2.1 – clearer first task, new public-board cards and billing fixes

Kanbanq v0.2.1 is live - and it starts with a simpler first step.

We saw many boards with zero tasks, which told us the first action was unclear.

Add Task now appears inside the column you are in - no hunting at the bottom.

It should help new boards get moving faster.

What’s new

• Public boards: enhanced cards with cleaner UX and a fresh design.

• Next-gen cards: groundwork that will roll out across Kanbanq.

• Add Tasks: inline, viewport-aware task creation.

• Billing reliability: pro unlocks as it should and account details save.

Why we changed it

Numbers showed friction at task zero and feedback matched it.

So we moved the button where your cursor and eyes already are.
