We're launching Agent Browser Today (April 9) and wanted to share it here ahead of the launch.
What is it?
Agent Browser is a macOS menu bar app (full GUI) that gives AI assistants like Claude and Openclaw a real, local browser to control. Built with Ai agents in mind to perform browsing tasks autonomously and efficiently. Powered by Playwright and exposed via 14 MCP tools including proper multi tab browsing. No cloud, no remote sessions, just a browser running on your Mac. Easy to setup for pro users and people with less experience.
Why we built it:
We wanted browser automation that runs 100% locally, works with any MCP-compatible AI (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf...), supports Real Chrome mode so you can use your actual browser with all your logins, persists sessions so Claude doesn't have to log in every time, and handles multi-tab workflows natively.
Free to download, no sign up or credit card required and there are no subscriptions.
