MeetingMind — your meeting transcripts, finally connected to your Obsidian vault
Hey PH!
I'm Patrick, and I just finished building MeetingMind — an Obsidian plugin that transforms meeting transcripts into connected, actionable notes.
The problem: I'd finish a meeting, export the transcript from Fireflies or Otter, and... it would just sit there. A wall of text in a folder. Even though I already had notes about the people in that meeting, the projects we discussed, the decisions we'd made before. None of it connected.
As someone with autism, recorded meeting transcripts were a step in the right direction. However, I needed my transcripts to actually integrate with my knowledge system — not live in isolation.
So I built the bridge.
What MeetingMind does:
Imports transcripts from Fireflies, Otter, Zoom, Fathom, or any tool that exports VTT/SRT/TXT/JSON
Auto-links mentions to your existing notes — Jennifer becomes [[Jennifer Chen]], the API migration links to [[Auth Service v2]]
Tracks participants — every person gets a note with their full meeting history
Meeting dashboard — see patterns, filter by person or project, query with Dataview
AI enrichment (Pro) — vault-aware summaries, action items with assignees, decision extraction, smart tags. BYOK with Claude or OpenAI.
Where I'm at: The plugin is feature-complete and submitted to the Obsidian Community Plugins store — just waiting on approval. Planning to launch here on ProductHunt once it's live.
I'd love your input:
How do you currently handle meeting notes/transcripts, if at all?
What's one thing you tend to forget 30 minutes after a meeting concludes?
Are you a current Obsidian user? How do you keep every note organized and connected for work?
Follow along if you want to get notified when I launch. Happy to answer any questions in the comments!
- Patrick
