two days later? gone.
not because you're bad at learning. because the method is broken. there are a few specific mistakes that silently kill retention, and almost everyone makes them without realizing it.

When you stumble upon an unfamiliar word in a text, look it up, then actively use it in conversations or writing a few times, it becomes part of your natural vocabulary. If you just check it once, and then don't use or see the word, it signals to your brain it isn't worth retaining, so it simply discards it.
