Hello Everyone, I’m really excited to be here 😊. I’ve been in the IT industry for 12 years, and at my core, I’ve always been a problem solver. For one reason or another, I’ve often needed URL shorteners - but to be honest, my experiences with them have been disappointing. Some only provide a bare-bones free service, others restrict usage with rate limits, and none seem to offer advanced features like tagging, vanity links, or timed expiration without hefty price tags. So, a few weeks ago I thought - enough is enough! I’ll just build my own solution. After a lot of work, I’m proud to share the launch of Trimlink - a free, fully featured, privacy-focused URL shortener. πŸš€ βœ… What’s Live Now ⚑ One-click shortening (lightning fast) ⏱️ Time-bound links (auto-expire at a chosen date/time) ✨ Custom endpoints (clean vanity slugs like /summer-sale) 🏷️ Tags (organize links and filter analytics) 🧾 QR codes (vector-based, print-ready) πŸ“Š Unlimited analytics dashboard (clicks over time, top links, tag breakdowns, simple graphs) πŸ”’ Privacy First No tracking (no cookies, no hidden scripts) We only collect your email address You can permanently delete everything (profile + all links) anytime πŸ“Œ Current Limits Up to 30 links per user Up to 10,000 clicks/month/user πŸ”œ Coming Soon πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» Developer APIs 🎨 Custom QR codes (colors, styles, logos) πŸ§ͺ A/B testing (multiple destinations for a single link) πŸ“ˆ Deeper analytics (based on community feedback) βŒ› Advanced expiration rules (after N clicks, by country, time windows, etc.) πŸ” One-time links (lightweight auth/verification flows) πŸ—οΈ Password-protected links I’d love to hear your feedback - what feels rough, what’s missing, and which of the upcoming features should I prioritize first? πŸ‘‰ Try it out here: https://trimlink.app πŸ™Œ
