Renewal Radar — a subscription tracker that roasts you for the bad ones

by

I built Renewal Radar — a subscription tracker with a twist.

Most people have no idea how much they're spending on subscriptions each month until the charge hits their bank account. I was one of them. So I built something to fix it.

Here's what it does:

— Tracks all your subscriptions in one place

— Alerts you before anything renews

— Gives you a monthly roast of the ones you're wasting money on

Example roast: 'You haven't opened Duolingo in 47 days. You are not learning Spanish. You are paying £6.99 a month to feel like someone who is learning Spanish. Ole.'

It's a very early MVP — no accounts, no backend, just the core concept. I'm validating whether this is worth building properly before investing more time into it.

Would genuinely love feedback from this community on:

— Does the roast angle make this more engaging than a standard tracker?

— Is £3.99/month a price you'd pay for the full version?

— What would make you actually download this?

Demo: renewalradar.netlify.app

Be as brutal as you like — that's kind of the whole point of the app.

Love the roast angle...those examples are hilarious and definitely make it more engaging than a standard tracker!

I'll check out the demo.

If you're up for it, I'm launching The Sponge on PH soon...an AI-powered flashcard app that turns webpages into study material with spaced repetition. Would appreciate a follow (PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH link in my profile).
