I'm a software engineer, and Rizsume started as a weekend side project after watching friends (and myself) struggle with resumes that looked fine but kept getting ignored. You can try it here: https://rizsume.com/

The question that bothered me was simple:

“Why does this resume feel strong, but still doesn’t pass screening?”

So I started building Rizsume to:

• simulate how resumes are evaluated

• surface hidden gaps

• and explain why a resume scores the way it does — not just give a number
