Solo Founder: I didn't intend to build a company, and yet here I am

Hello Product Hunt,

I'm Ash, a Post Grad student from Malaysia.

Qualitative research is already hard. Using clunky software to conduct research is even harder. I ended up trying to figure out how things work rather than focusing on my research.

So, I built Verithos.

It's an AI research co-pilot that aims to lighten the cognitive load of researchers, so they can focus on what truly matters for their research projects. I didn't build it to replace researchers, nor a thesis generator.

I shared this tiny project with my peers as a joke, they quickly discovered that it helped with their workflow too. So I launched it quietly, but soon realised that AI in academia can be controversial. So Verithos is built based on the principle that the researcher stays the pilot. AI assists, suggests and organizes, but you decide what to keep, archive or stand behind.
