The "Dark Matter" of Intelligence: Why I am building Callable* - YouTube+MasterClass but interactive
I have a list of 50 people that I would kill to have a coffee with. Niche founders, retired experts, brilliant writers.
But the reality is: They won't read my cold email. And honestly, they shouldn't have to. They are busy.
The 10% Problem
I realized that for all the crawling Google and OpenAI do, they have only captured maybe 10% of human intelligence. The other 90%—the "Dark Matter" of wisdom—is still locked inside people's heads, private journals, or offline experiences. It is "gatekept" by time and physics.
Why we read Paul Graham
Current AI chats are great at writing you a dry linkedin post (that everyone knows is AI btw), scientific facts or generic advice. But it doesn’t make you more curious or challenge your belief, like another person would.
AI can list the steps to start a startup.
AI cannot teach you "gumption," or how to emotionally recover from a failed business, or the specific nuance of a decision made in a crisis.
That is why we read Substack and scroll on twitter/reddit. We don't just want information; we want human perspective. We want opinions.
The Library of People
I am building Callable*. Think of it a mesh-up of YouTube and MasterClass.
It is a platform where people upload the materials that Google hasn't scraped—their life's work, their gatekept notes, their philosophy, hot-takes, adventures, trivia, successes, failures, lessons — as a vault of knowledge, that's not scrape-able but allows anyone to "call" them to extract their specific wisdom.
We are looking Creators and Users
We launch in 2 weeks from now. We have already onboarded 12 "Founding Humans" (not bots) who have uploaded knowledge you cannot find on Wikipedia or spend 100h reading their lives' work. Or your are simply curious about the product and would like to test it (we are in closed beta).
I'm opening this up to the PH community:
Creators: Do you have knowledge/experience that is currently "offline" or gatekept, but would love to share with the world for a price (we do rev share)?
Users: Who is the one person (alive or dead) you wish you could just talk to for 15 minutes?
Drop a comment or send me an email at tinnix@callable.com.ai
Both creators and users are welcome.

@tinnix_he A new perspective on knowledge, I'd say. But I have a question.
How do you make sure that the notes we upload to your platform will not be used by Google or some other entity? I believe certain thoughts or notes were not put out on social media or the internet by people for a reason, perhaps because it was a vulnerable experience or because it felt contradictory or more.
So, I was just wondering, how will your product protect their experience or lessons?
@kavyashree_s1 all the knowledge bases containing the original documents will only be stored on our server, not public. users can only access the knowledge base by having a conversation with the persona!
@tinnix_he I see, I think I can get an idea now. And will there be options to talk to the person who put those notes directly, or is it just with the persona?
@kavyashree_s1 just the personas for now, but there will be contact methods / consulting links left on the creator's profile, and you can leave messages or comments for the creator to see.
@tinnix_he Oh, okay! Not direct communication. But that brings up another question - Will we get a reply from these creators or not?
Recently, I saw a question: How accessible and reachable are high-end mentors? I think the same thing applies here, too. I'm sorry if I'm asking too much, I'm just curious about your perspective :)
@tinnix_he If a persona is trained on someone’s personal notes, how do you prevent it from overgeneralizing or speaking “as if” it knows things the real person never wrote down?
@zypressen we use RAG, and if theres nth relevant in the knowledge base it will be prompted to say it doesn’t know instead of making something up
