👋 Today is launch day for Yomio: Smart Expenses.

I started building Yomio because I kept abandoning budgeting apps.
Too much manual work, too little insight.
Categories weren’t enough — I wanted to understand what I actually buy.

This first release is very intentionally the foundation: item-level tracking from receipts, clean structure, and your own data as the source of truth.

What I’m working towards next: price comparison for the same items across stores, smarter spending patterns, and personal insights built purely on your history — not generic advice.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback at this stage:

– what feels missing
