Quick update from the Supaguard launch 👋
We were lucky to land in the Top 10 on Product Hunt 🎉 — totally unexpected and honestly motivating.
Even better was the feedback. One of the most requested features was real-time alerts, especially Slack notifications 🔔 when something sensitive is exposed.
We’ve already started building Slack alerts so teams can catch accidental Supabase exposure as it happens, not days later ⚡
This is why building in public matters 🙌 — real users shape the roadmap faster than any planning doc.

Building real-time alerts (especially Slack) based on user feedback is exactly how strong security tools evolve. Love the build-in-public approach 👏

Adding Slack alerts is definitely a smart move, but as a daily Slack user, I have a love-hate relationship with them. The biggest challenge is the noise — sometimes it's impossible to keep up with every notification, and important threads just get lost in the shuffle.
My advice: make sure the alerts are highly customizable or 'high-signal' only, so teams don't just mute them after the first hour! Do you plan to add a feature to 'snooze' or group these alerts?

@zahra_mammadli Thanks for the feedback. we will consider this while implementing it . I agree it can be annoying to have continuous notifications - so we already planned to have Slack notifications / email notifications only when a finding is found. sounds fair?
